Celebrating First-Generation Students

First-generation college students often face unique academic and financial challenges—including, on average, lower post-graduation salaries than their continuing-generation peers. Recognizing these challenges and aiming to create programming that supports Jefferson’s first-generation students, the University hosted the First-Generation Celebration Luncheon, an inaugural campus-wide event for first-generation students.
